A Special Notice : DOE 202(c) No 202-26-41 Applicability Additional Comments: PJM has received DOE 202(c) No. 202-26-41 which pertains to the usage of identified Specified Resources and directives to operate backup generators at large loads. In an effort to provide additional clarity, PJM is sending this notice regarding the operational applicability for Specified Resources under the DOE order. PJM has NOT identified a reliability need to utilize the Specified Resources identified in Exhibit A (Order No. 202-26-41 Resource List) starting on the 9/5 operating day through the end of the order on the 9/8 operating day. It is important to note that the order does not constitute a directive to operate at maximum output or full load. Exhibit A resources should still follow relevant PJM instructions for commitment and dispatch. Emergency system conditions are not expected to continue past 9/4. PJM will provide additional communication as needed on the applicability of DOE Order No. 202-26-41 for the effective duration of the order.
