Additional Comments: PJM has received DOE 202(c) No. 202-26-41 which pertains to the usage of identified Specified Resources and directives to operate backup generators at large loads. In an effort to provide additional clarity, PJM is sending this notice regarding the operational applicability for Specified Resources under the DOE order.
PJM has identified a reliability need to utilize the Specified Resources identified in Exhibit A (Order No. 202-26-41 Resource List) for the 9/02 operating day. It is important to note that the order does not constitute a directive to operate at maximum output or full load. Exhibit A resources should still follow relevant PJM instructions for commitment and dispatch. PJM will provide additional communication tomorrow on the applicability of DOE Order No. 202-26-41 for the effective duration of the order. | |
